Pioneering the Future of HR: DataOn Humanica at Indonesia Human Capital and Beyond 2024

DataOn at Human Capital & Beyond Summit 2024

Jakarta, November 15, 2024 – DataOn Humanica showcased its flagship HR solution, SunFish, at the Indonesia Human Capital and Beyond Summit 2024, held from November 13–15 at JIEXPO Kemayoran. Participating as an exhibitor and with its President Director, Gordon Enns, featured in the speakers’ lineup, the company demonstrated its leadership in HR technology across Southeast Asia.

The event, themed “A Force For Greater Good in Human Development Toward Indonesia Emas 2045,” brought together over 1,000 attendees and prominent thought leaders. Notable speakers included international HR experts Prof. Dev Ulric and Prof. David Roger, alongside regional luminaries such as Peck Kem Low (Singapore) and Indonesian leaders Toto Soegito, Budiman Sudjatmiko, and Hendri Koenaifi. Their insights enriched discussions on advancing human capital and adopting best practices in HR management.

On November 14, during the People Technology Track, Gordon Enns delivered a compelling session titled “Cybersecurity in Human Capital: Addressing the Importance of Data Security in HR Information Systems.” He highlighted the growing necessity of safeguarding HR data in a digital-first world, introducing SunFish as a platform that integrates advanced security features to ensure data integrity and employee privacy.

“Data security in HR information systems is not just about information protection, but also about maintaining trust and protecting employee privacy,” said Gordon Enns. “By adopting a robust cybersecurity strategy, companies can prevent data breaches and foster a secure work environment for all employees.”

Driving Human Capital Development for Indonesia Emas 2045
Human capital development is pivotal to realizing Indonesia’s vision of “Indonesia Emas 2045.” Achieving this goal requires collaboration among all stakeholders, including the government, private sector, academia, arts and culture, diaspora, communities, and NGOs. By working together, these groups can accelerate the enhancement of skills and competencies while fostering job creation—both through traditional avenues and innovative breakthroughs that drive new business opportunities.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli emphasized this at the summit, noting the increasing complexity of workforce challenges amid technological advancements. “We must focus on enhancing competence, digitalization, and adaptive resilience as President Prabowo always says,” he stated.

Key initiatives discussed at the event included reskilling and upskilling programs in the green, food security, and digital sectors. “These programs aim to elevate the quality of Indonesia’s workforce through collaboration with industry, educational institutions, and local governments,” said Minister Yassierli. Additionally, he highlighted ongoing efforts to improve worker protections, including fair wage policies and enhanced social security, particularly for vulnerable groups and people with disabilities.
