Tangerang, September 2025 – The Indonesia Human Capital & Beyond Summit (IHCBS) 2025 took place on September 2–3 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, attracting more than 3,000 participants both onsite and online. Supported by the Gerakan Nasional Indonesia Kompeten (GNIK), GML, QuBisa, and Kompas.com, the event became the largest gathering in the field of human capital this year.

With the theme “Futur-Ready Workforce: Strategies for Indonesia’s 8 Economic Transformation,” IHCBS 2025 brought together government, industry leaders, academics, and HR practitioners in a collaborative forum to shape strategies for Indonesia’s workforce and economy of the future.

Opening Ceremony and Keynotes

The summit opened with remarks from Suwardi Luis, President Director of PT GML Performance Consulting, Lilik Oetama, CEO of Kompas Gramedia, and a virtual address by Yunus Triyonggo, Chairman of the GNIK Steering Committee.

In his speech, Suwardi highlighted the importance of collaboration in navigating current challenges. “Our presence here today reflects that we remain resilient, not only for today, but also for the future as we move toward Indonesia Emas 2045,” he said.

The first day featured a keynote address from Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Dr. Rini Widyantini, M.Si.. This was followed by strategic discussions that explored the execution of the Indonesia Kompeten 2025 Blueprint, shared global best practices for developing future-ready talent, examined digitalization in the oil and gas sector, highlighted the role of higher education in leveraging AI, and reviewed BUMN strategies for building superior human capital.
